Dunkin' Donuts x Homesick Candles
Dunkin' Donuts and candles - what a perfect combination! As soon as I saw that Homesick was coming out with coffee and doughnut themed candles in a special collaboration wil Dunkin' Donuts, I knew I had to get them!
There are 3 scents in the collection - Original Blend, Old Fashioned, and Peppermint Mocha. I got the first two which you can see in the photo - the packaging is too cute! On cold sniff they smell great and true to the names. I love coffee-scented candles especially so the Original Blend is really awesome. I hope they do more collaborations like this in the future!

Sophie & Lili - Sweater Weather Candle
As soon as I saw this fall-themed wood wick candle on Sophie & Lili's Instagram account, I knew I had to have it! I pre-ordered this item and received it in the mail yesterday - it's even cuter in person!
The packaging itself is right up my alley and I am definitely considering keeping the box just for the label, haha. The candle is a nice sized wood wick candle and smells like apples and cinnamon - so good! The glass candle container will be a cute storage jar after I am done burning the candle as well. She also has a few holiday-themed candles available for pre-order as well if you're looking for some great holiday gifts.

Trader Joe's - Mango Tangerine Candle
I noticed on a recent visit to my local Trader Joe's that the Mango Tangerine candles were back! This one was a quick favorite of mine when I first saw it a while ago, with a strong tropical/citrus scent.
I've since seen some posts online saying this is very similar to the Volcano Capri Blue candles that are very popular at Anthropologie stores, and I have to agree they do smell a lot like them. It's a great summery scent - be sure to grab them while they're available!

Target - Smartly Citrus Grove Products
Ah, the power of social media, haha. I started to see a few Instagram stories on TargetDoesItAgain's page about Target's Smartly Citrus Grove products being VERY similar to the Capri Blue Volcano products sold at Anthropologie. It's a very popular scent (if you've been inside an Anthropologie store you'll likely know it, haha), so I was very curious to check out the Smartly products!
On my first trip it was a little difficult to find the Smartly products, but I did come across the dish soap in the Citrus Grove scent later on. It really does smell a lot like the Volcano candles! I've since also purchased the larger cleaner spray as well, so I am very happy to have found these. If you're also a fan of "the Anthropologie scent", be sure to check these out at your local Target.

Candelles Holiday Swap Candle
At the end of 2018, I signed up to be a part of the Candelles holiday gift swap and wound up exchanging super fun gifts with my friend which was a funny surprise!
As part of the holiday gift swap, Candelles also sent out this Pepperberry Greens candle to everyone that participated. I love the pink candle wrapping and the festive design! I love that they add this bonus gift after the gift swap is over - it's a cute little surprise since we don't know what it is until it arrives. I encourage anyone that likes buying gifts or doing gift exchanges to sign up for their next gift swap!

Anthropologie + Terrain - Bethesda, MD
The new Anthropologie and Terrain/Terrain Cafe opened recently in downtown Bethesda, MD - I was very excited to check it out since it was such a big space that it was taking over. The whole store spans three spacious floors, including a BHLDN (bridal shop), Terrain (garden shop), and Terrain Cafe. There's a lot to take in, and the way the store is designed is pretty amazing!
There's a lot of "stuff", maybe even more so than actual clothes, haha. That's not a problem for me, since I love looking at gift and home items. It's a great chance to see a lot of their furniture pieces in person (third floor), which I've previously only seen in their catalogs and online. As we get closer to the holidays I can't wait to see how they change up the store displays! The Terrain Cafe has been crowded whenever I've passed by - I look forward to trying out brunch or dinner there soon as well!

Brittany Viklund - Fall Bucket List
It's no secret that I love fall, and basically all the fun stuff in stores that come out for the season, haha. I also love finding other ways to celebrate everything good about the fall, so I was very happy to see Brittany Viklund brought back her cute bucket list a few weeks ago!
Downloading the bucket list is free, and it's a fun way to make sure you're celebrating the season in big and little ways, which I love. It's a nice reminder to do all the fun things before we get into the cold winter season!

HomeGoods - Fall Candles
While I am fully aware that it's still August/summer, I can't help but feel excited for Fall when I see all of the fun seasonal items pop up in HomeGoods! These DW Home candles have a very cute seasonal design, and smell really good and true to the label, haha. The Pumpkin Latte one especially had a very strong coffee note which I really liked, since coffee scented candles are one of my favorites. These large candles were priced at $14.99, but I wound up getting the smaller version of the Pumpkin Latte candle for $9.99. If you're starting to look for some cute Fall decor to bring out in a few weeks, be sure to stop in to HomeGoods because they're starting to roll out more and more items as we get closer to Fall!

Bath and Body Works - Fall Candles
Happy August everybody! What better way to celebrate than with... Fall candles, haha. Yes, I am fully aware that it's still summer, but when Bath and Body Works came out with the new Fall candles and there was a sale, of course I had to snag a few of them.
I love most of the Fall candles, but I was particularly excited to get the Apple Cinnamon Cider and Pumpkin Peanut Brittle ones. The Pumpkin Peanut Brittle smells like pumpkin spice and peanut butter, a very warm and bakery-style scent to me which I love. And the Apple Cinnamon Cider definitely smells like cider which is great, compared to a regular apple scent. It might seem too early right now, but if you're also a fan of Fall scents like apples and pumpkin you should definitely check out the collection soon!

Bath and Body Works - Semi-Annual Sale Candles
Let me just start off by saying that I fully intended on NOT going to Bath and Body Works during their current semi-annual sale because I still have a ton of candles to go through in my home. However, I recently went to the mall for a different errand and of course wound up going home with these four candles in the end anyway, haha.
The semi-annual sale is a great time to stock up on items that you already normally buy, especially when you add coupons to the sale prices. Also, sometimes you'll find some older candles or random scents that you hadn't really noticed before on the shelves, which can be a fun little surprise if it's one that you particularly like. The Banana Split Milkshake was a surprising one for me, since banana candles to begin with are pretty rare. After seeing it as one of the big hits of the semi-annual sale purchases online, I was very curious to see how it was in person. Personally, I got a very warm but light banana pudding/bakery scent which I liked, and I had previously bought and liked some of their Banana Pudding mini candles in the past. I'm glad I was able to get two of them, as there were only three on the shelf when I stopped in. Even if you're not a crazy candle collector like I am, the semi-annual sale is still going on both in stores and online if you want to check it out!

Trader Joe's - Mango Tangerine Candle
I love going to Trader Joe's often just to browse - there's usually at least a few new items to check out alongside picking up some staple items. I recently came across this mango tangerine candle in the store, and now I'm feeling like I should've bought more than one! It's the perfect light and summery scent for anyone that likes mangoes and tangerines. I loved the grapefruit candle that they sold previously, and this one has the same strong fruit scent that doesn't smell fake like juice or candy. If you also like mango/citrus scented candles be sure to pick one (or more!) up before they disappear!
