Georgetown Cupcake - August Cupcake Specials

There are lots of fun August specials at Georgetown Cupcake, including the last two which are special for the Olympics!  The perfect treats to enjoy while watching athletes do things that I could never imagine being able to do, haha.

- Banana Split: Banana cupcake with a rich fudge core topped with a vanilla cream cheese frosting, sundae toppings and a maraschino cherry.

- Key Lime Cheesecake: Key lime cheesecake cupcake with a graham cracker crust, topped with a key lime frosting and a candied lime.

- Butterscotch Waffle Cone: Butterscotch cupcake with a butterscotch core, topped with a butterscotch buttercream frosting, butterscotch drizzle, hazelnuts, rainbow sprinkles, and a waffle wedge.

- Blueberry Cheesecake: Blueberry cheesecake cupcake with a graham cracker crust, topped with a vanilla frosting and a blue fondant flower.

- Gold Medal Red Velvet: Red Velvet cupcake with vanilla cream cheese frosting decorated with a fondant gold medal.

Georgetown Cupcake - February Specials

Georgetown Cupcake's February specials all sound very cute and delicious, with lots of pink all over the place, haha:

- Strawberry Lava Fudge: Valrhona chocolate cupcake with a rich fudge core topped with a strawberry icing and a fudge star drizzle.

- Strawberry Cheesecake: Classic madagascar bourbon vanilla cheesecake baked with fresh strawberries and topped with a fresh strawberry frosting and a fondant heart.

- Olympic Gold Medal Red Velvet: Classic red velvet cupcake with a vanilla cream cheese frosting topped with a fondant Olympic “Gold Medal”.

- Valentine's Day XO Chocolate: Valrhona chocolate cupcake with baby pink buttercream and “XO” fondant.

I love the strawberry frosting at Georgetown Cupcake, so I highly recommend those if you like strawberries as well!

AC Birthday Weekend Part 2

My friends A and D got me with a bottle of champagne sent up to the hotel room - such a fantastic surprise!!! 

I am currently obsessed with making the McKayla face, so of course I had to make everyone take photos doing the face as well.  If you're not familiar with it, please check out the McKayla Is Not Impressed Tumblr, and be prepared to lose many hours in your day.
