Takeout Tuesday - Sunday Morning Bakehouse's Pumpkin Loaf

 

Happy National Pumpkin Day!  What better way to celebrate than by sharing this delicious pumpkin loaf from Sunday Morning Bakehouse?  Don't let the simple looks of it fool you - this slice of pumpkin loaf was really flavorful!  The slightly crispy edges have a nice contrast with the thick middle of spiced pumpkin flavor, and this was really rich without feeling heavy.  Perfect with some tea or coffee - I enjoyed this with plain iced coffee.  I knew that I would like their pumpkin menu items to begin with, but I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised by how tasty this was!
