Rachel Allene Fall Goodies + Starbucks PSL Day
If you're a fan of pumpkin spice anything like I am, hopefully you got a chance to enjoy the debut of the fall drinks at Starbucks yesterday! I was very happy that my order from Rachel Allene's online shop arrived right before Pumpkin Spice Latte day, so I could go enjoy my first fall drink in my new steel mug.
As an added bonus, you get $0.10 off of your drink at Starbucks if you bring your own mug - all the more reason to have a fun themed mug, right? Even though it's not officially fall yet, it's never too early to enjoy some fun fall items!

Whistle and Flute T-Shirts
I've been a fan of Whistle & Flute's t-shirts and other goodies for a while now on Instagram, but during a recent online sale I couldn't resist getting a shirt for myself and also for my niece and nephew! I mean, the ramen shirt is clearly right up my alley, and the little face on the bowl is too cute! The kids' sushi shirts are super fun, and I love how each of the items has a tiny little face on them. The shirts feel soft and durable, which I feel like is especially important for kids' clothes. I heard that they will be doing another online sale on the 18th, so be sure to check out their website if you're interested in any of their products!

Old Navy - Fry Your Best Tank
I recently went to Old Navy to pick up some new workout clothes, and could not resist getting this cute French Fry gym tank! I am definitely a sucker for food themes and cute mascots, especially for something that's not really fun like the gym, haha. Old Navy often offers sales on their workout clothes, as well as Super Cash deals to use on later purchases, so be sure to regularly check their website or stores for more cute new designs!

UNIQLO Pike & Rose
I am a big fan of UNIQLO's clothes and accessories, so I was very excited to find out a store was opening in the Pike & Rose neighborhood! I went during both the soft opening on August 31st and the grand opening on September 1st to check it out.
The grand opening started off with some Taiko drumming performances and free Kung Fu Tea bubble teas, which were much appreciated while waiting in line to head inside. While it's a relatively small store, it's organized well and there's a good mix of comfy basics and seasonal (currently fall/early Winter) items all available.
For me, the best items at UNIQLO are the basics and lounge pieces - so comfy! I have a lot of the HEATTECH and AIRism shirts, and their lounge pants are great too. They regularly have seasonal items on sale, so it'll be really nice to have one nearby where I can pop in to see what's new and on sale!
Kung Fu Tea bubble teas
Roger Federer's uniform samples on display
Current promotional price items
Lounge pants
Super cute Gudetama and other Sanrio shirts (unfortunately only in kid sizes, haha)

Uniqlo x Pocky Shirts
Uniqlo comes out with so many fun brand collaborations throughout the year, and I was all over the Pocky t-shirts that I saw online recently. Pocky snacks are a long time favorite of mine, and I love the simple but perfectly "Pocky" design of the chocolate sticks tucked into the pocket! I'm especially glad that I got this shirt when the collection came out, because it looks like both the black and red shirts are currently out of stock online. If you have an Uniqlo store by you, I'd definitely recommend checking out the current collaboration items!

Forever 21 - Recent Finds
In reality, I am way too old to be shopping in places like Forever 21;
however I always see people in there that appear older and shopping
alone so I'm sure it's fine, haha. I usually poke around the store
every once in a while and beeline directly for the accessories/other
random things by the registers, and don't even look at the clothes at
all. A recent visit certainly didn't disappoint, with lots of cute socks and bags! I'll never tire of puns and random cute illustrations which Forever 21 carries by the truckload. This time I only bought the ramen socks, but I am seriously debating on going back for the other two bags :o)

Target Holiday "Oh Snap!" Sweater
I will never, ever tire of seeing the "Oh Snap!" gingerbread joke on things during the holidays, hahaha. I love how the gingerbread man with the sunglasses is too cool to care that their friend is literally breaking apart, haha.
This sweater is currently sold at Target - unfortunately, this design is only in the kids' section . But if you have any kids that would appreciate this or you're small enough to fit into kids' sizes, be sure to pick this up at your local Target or online!

Old Navy Sweatshirts
Old Navy has had a great selection of activewear and loungewear recently, with lots of cute designs! I stopped in earlier this week and came across two in particular that I thought were fun:
I loved the coral-pink color of this sweatshirt, and also that the font was pretty small for being one of those "quote shirts", which made it a little unique.
As soon as I saw this "Hello There" sweatshirt on the mannequin, I knew I wanted it! Unfortunately there were none of these below or close to the mannequin that had this sweatshirt, and as I looked around I was starting to wonder if this was the only one available. But then, I went into the clearance section and someone had left behind the sweatshirt in my size no less, woo! Unfortunately it was not actually on clearance which would've been a nice bonus, but I was happy to find one at all. It's super soft and cozy, perfect for fall and winter weekends!

Hello Kitty Cafe Truck - Bethesda
A few weeks ago I met up with my friend L to check out the Hello Kitty Cafe truck's pop-up shop event in Bethesda - along with about a million other Hello Kitty fans, haha. The line moved pretty slowly but I am generally OK with lines (v. Japanese of me, ha), and it was fun to see all the different Hello Kitty outfits people were wearing in line.
Below are the items that I got:
- T-shirt (for a friend that couldn't make it)
- Mug
- Free button and sticker from the event
- Frosted cookie set
I am SO happy I got the mug - it is super cute and even has a little Hello Kitty doughnut that you can see when you finish your drink. I hope more Hello Kitty events come to this area in the future!

Target - Pumpkin Spice T-shirt
I regularly check out the t-shirt/tank section at Target because they usually have some fun designs all throughout the year. And considering my obsession with all things pumpkin, of course I couldn't pass this one up! It's a super soft tank that shows everyone that you are Team Pumpkin, haha. And for $12.99, this is also a great little gift for someone that loves everything pumpkin!

VS Pink + Ban.do Food Gifts
While I was out shopping a few weeks ago, I noticed a pretty delicious theme to some of the items I was seeing in stores. The shirt on the left is from VS PINK, and the bottle is by Ban.do and sold at PaperSource. Both of these would be great as motivation to go to the gym - or to get food, whatever you think is best, haha. I think they would also make cute gifts for anyone else that loves fries/pizza!

Gap Kids Mittens
I'm probably one of the few people that actually likes going to the mall before Christmas, haha. I never mind the crowds, and I usually just take the time to walk around and browse the holiday sales. I came across these fun mittens while looking through Gap/Gap Kids, and was pleasantly surprised to find that they were 50% off! They reminded me a little of Kate Spade's cute designs, and they are super thick and soft. It has become really cold in the DC area lately, so they really have come in handy!

Target- Brunch Pajamas
I loved these brunch-themed pajamas at Target as soon as I saw them, and then they happened to go on sale which was even better! Who wouldn't love pajamas with pancakes, waffles, and bacon strips throughout, haha. These would be a perfect gift for anyone that loves brunch, breakfast, or carbs in general :o)

Mean Girls Holiday Shirt
Anyone that is a fan of the "Mean Girls" movie will love this holiday shirt at Target! It's one of the most popular lines in the movie (in a movie FULL of popular lines, haha) all decked out in a festive holiday theme. We may never actually see Glen Coco in the movie, but this is a fun twist on the usual festive holiday clothing that comes out around this time of year. As an extra bonus, it's a slouchy and very soft fabric! Target also has a ton of other quote t-shirts and holiday tops, so be sure to check them out soon!

French Fry Goodies
It's not quite Friday, but I wanted to share some fun fry-day products that I've come across recently, haha! I'm not really sure why but I feel like I've seen a number of fry-related products lately, which is all the more ironic considering I don't eat French fries. Not because I don't like them, mind you, but more because I love them too much and I'm trying to exert some self control with at least one vice.
I saw this shirt at Forever 21, and I thought it was awesome -it also reminded me of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, haha. But then I realized that I don't really have anywhere that I could (or should?) wear this.
On the other hand, I could DEFINITELY use this insulated lunch bag for my work lunches! I spotted this bag at Target, and found out at the register that it was even cheaper than the marked clearance price - always a fun surprise! This bag was under $3 and will make my work lunches all the more fun to bring in to the office. At my store, there were also Chipwich and Burger versions as well, which are also super cute!

Forever 21 - Recent Finds
I don't really shop at Forever 21 often, but I passed by the store at the mall recently and thought I'd pop in to see what they have. Of course that means I walked out with these totally unnecessary but fun items, haha.
They have a lot of super cute socks, including these doughnut and panda ones. The panda ones have a terry lining, so they are extra cushy to wear - perfect for the upcoming boot season. And, clearly with the doughnut socks I had to get the matching doughnut coin purse, haha. I actually like having smaller pouches like this to throw into bigger purses that don't have pockets, to keep everything organized. All in all a successful and fun shopping trip!

The Home T - New Jersey
I bought this NJ t-shirt from The Home. T a looooooong time ago, but I definitely think it's worth spreading the word about them. First of all, it's such a simple but fun idea for a t-shirt, and it's super soft. As if that wasn't enough, the company donates a portion of their profits to benefit Multiple Sclerosis research, which is a fantastic cause. The company has branched out to offer hoodies, tote bags, and lots of other ways to show your hometown pride. This would make a fantastic holiday gift for friends and family as well!

Target- Doughnut Sweater
As soon as I saw this doughnut sweater on the rack at Target, I stopped right there in my tracks to check it out, haha. It's a lightweight, soft grey sweater with a GIANT PINK SPRINKLE DOUGHNUT ON IT. There are a few other cute designs in this same style, but of course I think this one is the cutest. If you're in the market for some new doughnut goods for fall, definitely check this one out at Target!

Bravo TV - RHOC 100th Episode Shirt
If you follow me on Twitter, you'd quickly realize that I talk about Bravo a LOT - especially on nights that new episodes of their shows are on, haha. It's always nice to get rewarded for my obsessive Bravo love (like with the Bravoholic account), so I was very happy when I found out I had won a "Real Housewives of Orange County" 100th episode special edition t-shirt, haha. I initially thought it would be their "regular" OC shirt with the two oranges, but this one is a cute design with lots of sliced oranges spread out across the front of the shirt. Thanks Bravo for the fun prize!
