Retro MTV Brunch - Laguna Beach + The Hills

Well, it looks like I know what I'll be doing at 8am for the next couple of weeks...

Starting today, MTV will be showing ALL of Laguna Beach and The Hills seasons as part of "RetroMTV Brunch", yessssssssssssssssssssssssss.  From 8am - 12pm Monday through Friday, we can all get our fix of two of the best shows EVER.  I have never wanted to work from home more in my life, hahaha.

And yes, I am fully aware that I can watch these episodes whenever I want since I own the DVDs, but that still won't stop me from watching them on tv, of course.  Be sure to tune in if you're also a fan of these shows!

Ok, now that I've gotten that out of my system - I finally made it through on the phone for Bravo TV's Watch What Happens Live online aftershow!!! I had been on hold and was supposed to be on the tv broadcast - even though that didn't work out, I'm happy to have made it on at all :o)

It was awesome enough to be talking to Andy Cohen (you may recall our MOMENT from his book signing earlier this year), but to talk to Kristin Cavallari, who has and always will be one of my favorites from Laguna Beach/The Hills, yes, this was quite AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

Here's the online episode of WWHL, it's split into two segments and my call is in this one, starting at the 3:39 mark. 

I know I probably sounded like a dummy that wasn't ready for the call, hence my "..............................HELLO?", haha.  But I swear I was really trying to be coherent- it's a little hard to know what's going on since the audio that I was hearing over the phone was about 15 seconds ahead of what I was watching online.  

By the way, Kristin, Andy, and I are totally BFFs now, they just haven't realized it yet.  LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THEMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Love, Love, Love: Laguna Beach + The Hills

So, I will preface this by saying that I own about 99% of the Laguna Beach/The Hills DVDs, but no matter...

According to OK! magazine, MTV will be starting a daily block of programming called Retro Mania, including back-to-back episodes of Laguna Beach and The Hills, starting today, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Granted these are all on weekdays from 9am-12pm... but I thought I'd pass this along to anyone that is working from home, or *cough* sick *cough* and at home.  Or better yet, record them to watch later a million times!!

The Beauty Department

Well well well, if it isn't the lovely Miss Lauren Conrad with a new beauty site, The Beauty Department!

It looks like the site is just getting started, but I like the fresh, clean look of the website so far.  Also, I am a huge fan of Lauren's style and hair, so I'm definitely looking forward to the tips and tutorials.  Hopefully this site will be updated often so I can get my Laguna Beach/Hills style fix from here :o)

Zoya Nail Polishes

Super excited to show you all my new Zoya nail polishes!  I got these during an awesome promotion on the Zoya website- Three free polishes (and pay $7 for shipping).  I had never tried Zoya polishes before, but I've seen it on various beauty blogger reviews, and figured it was a perfect time to try it out.

The first three that I got are the Lo, Madison, Cassi shades.  Pretty, feminine, and cute for spring and summer!  My favorite has definitely been the Cassi- it's a creamy pearl-y shade that's a little different than your normal pink polish.

To switch things up a bit, I figured I'd order another set of not-so-pink colors, haha: LC, Harley, Elke.  I liked these because they were different than the original set above- I got the LC and Elke colors especially for bold pedicures.  I haven't tried the Harley yet but I think it'll be a nice neutral for short nails.

 

Just as an aside- Yes, I totally bought LC and Lo specifically for their names- gotta love Laguna Beach/The Hills!
