Briogeo -Superfoods Hair Pack

I bought this Briogeo Be Gentle Be Kind Superfoods Hair Pack from Sephora a while ago, but I wanted to make sure I had used it at least a few times before writing about it.  If you get any of the Sephora Play subscription boxes, you might already be familiar with the Briogeo brand - I think there's been a few times where their haircare samples have been included in the boxes.  That is how I became familiar with the brand myself, from trying out a few of their hair masks and conditioners.   I'm especially a big fan of their Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-in conditioning spray, which leaves your hair super soft!

First off, I'm a sucker for fun packaging, which is what I liked about this Superfoods set to begin with - they're like the green juice bottles that I can't help checking out whenever I'm in Whole Foods or some fancypants juice bar, haha.  Based on the Sephora item description, I think this set is suitable for all hair types if you want some extra hydration (who doesn't?)

"This nutrient-rich duo is formulated to visibly replenish dull and parched locks with a supercharged boost of vitamins and hair healthy ingredients. Be Gentle, Be Kind™ Matcha + Apple Replenishing Superfood Shampoo is a green-juice inspired shampoo, packed with matcha and apple to cleanse and help nourish hair without stripping it of moisture. The Be Gentle, Be Kind™ Kale + Apple Replenishing Superfood Conditioner is a smoothie-textured conditioner that will give your hair a daily dose of kale and apple to nourish and hydrate. By harnessing the power of fruit and vegetable fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals, this regimen will support the vibrancy of hair and as the perfect companion to your wellness routine."

You can definitely smell the apple from both bottles - it's such a light and fresh scent, especially welcome in these humid summer days. My hair has been very soft after using these, and doesn't weigh my hair down at all.  As an extra bonus, if you're in the market for some new "clean" products to add to your routine, this definitely fits the bill.  Briogeo products continue to be my go-tos for hair products and I'm very happy that I tried out this set!

Kate Spade Lunch Totes

I recently saw these Kate Spade lunch totes in a Hallmark store, and I was definitely tempted to buy both of them!  These lunch totes are super cute, right down to the gold bow zipper pulls - they are also very functional and feel very thick and durable.  I love how tall these bags are, which is an issue I have with my smaller lunch bags, where taller containers don't fit completely and leaves the bag open on top.  If anyone is in the market for a new lunch (or just a cute bag, period) definitely check these out!

bkr Storm Bottle

I readily admit that I have an obsession with collecting things, namely drinking vessels.  I have TONS of mugs, and I've started collecting lots of reusable travel bottles as well.  I have a few bkr bottles in various colors, but I couldn't resist this super cute "Storm" design, which is a dark grey bottle with a light pink heart in the middle.  I love the contrast of the dark background with the light pink, so cute!  I use the bkr bottles all the time at work, and these are a great way to increase your water intake during the day.  Check them out if you're in the market for a cute new travel bottle!

Smoothie Tumblers

I've been enjoying my daily morning smoothies, but only having one tumbler was getting a little annoying.  I acquired a second one with a Keurig iced coffee rebate coupon, but I just had to buy this set (above) when I saw it at TJMaxx!

I really like the pink dandelions on the tumber on the left, and I it's very convenient that this set comes with six extra straws.  If anyone is looking for extra smoothie/iced drink cups, definitely check out TJMaxx or other discount stores before paying full price at other stores!

Free Coffee at Starbucks

In honor of Earth Day, Starbucks is giving away free coffee or tea (hot or iced) to anyone that brings in a reuseable mug today, woo!  It's a nice way for people waste a little less and get something good out of it.

Just as a side note, you receive 10 cents off your order whenever you bring in your own mug every other day of the year :o)

Happy Earth Day everyone!

Crate & Barrel Bobble Bottle

Water bottle? Filtered water? Why not both?

I had heard about Bobble bottles before, so I was excited to see them sold at Crate & Barrel.  The idea of this bottle is pretty neat- the cap is attached to a small water filter, so you can fill up the bottle with regular tap water.  Once you fill and empty the water once or twice (you'll notice the water is a little discolored from the filter's charcoal), just keep refilling and drinking!

One weird thing is the hissing air that happens every time I try to take more than a few sips- it literally sounds like the bottle is sighing at me, haha.  From a few reviews, it seems like the elongated filter might be the cause of that.  But clearly it's not a deal breaker for me.  Overall though, I like having this on hand, especially for trips away from home.  Having it around is also a good reminder to drink water throughout the day!

Honest Tea - Peach Oo-La-Long

A huge "Thank you!" to Honest Tea for their general awesomeness and fun Twitter contests.  They recently had an interactive Earth Day-related contest there where followers submitted photos of themselves recycling an Honest Tea bottle.  Luckily I was one of the first group to send a photo, and won a free case of Honest Tea in a flavor of my choice!

I picked the Peach Oo-La-Long flavor because I like most of their flavors, but I especially love peach-flavored teas.  This one has a great peach-y flavor without being overly sweet.  I've really enjoyed bringing them into work to drink with my lunch.  Thanks to Honest Tea, my fridge now partially resembles a "Cribs" fridge, with the bottles taking up most of the top shelf, haha.  Extra bonus, their office is located in downtown Bethesda- yay for local businesses!  These are all over in stores around here, but I'm not sure if they are everywhere in the US yet...check out the website to see if it's available in your area!

Stonyfield Yogurt Cup

I'm one of those seemingly few people that take rebates and redeemable offers v. seriously- especially if it's for something that I like anyway.  Case in point- Stonyfield had a promotion a while back for a free reuseable yogurt cup, redeemable by mailing in a few foil lids that had the promotion printed on it.

Fast forward a few months, and I got this cute little package in the mail.  It's a cute Stonyfield brand yogurt (or snack) cup with a screwtop lid, so the top won't pop off and spill anywhere once it's closed tight.  Now I can buy the larger quart size tubs and put the yogurt in this cup, vs. buying the invididual cups all the time.  I also received a few coupons for Stonyfield and Preserve products which was pretty cool also.  Thanks Stonyfield!  If you aren't signed up to receive e-mails from Stonyfield already, I'd recommend it- it's the best way to find out about promotions, giveaways, and coupons that they offer.
