Takeout Tuesday - Macarons from Sweets by Caroline

I saw that Sweets by Caroline was having a pop up at a local Athleta store this past weekend and made my way over there to pick up some of her macarons.  I've had her macarons before and really love her creative and delicious macarons.

The whole lineup at the pop up was so cute, with some seasonal flavors mixed in too.  I got two of the Creme Brulee, and then one of each of Cookies and Cream, S'mores, Cinnamon Roll, and Apple Pie.  These macarons pack so much flavor in each bite, and I love the creativity in the presentation of them as well.  Her macarons are sold at the shop local store in Rockville Town Square, but I also hope to catch her at another local pop up or event again soon!

Takeout Tuesday - Sweets By Caroline's Macarons at URBNmarket Pike and Rose

There were a lot of great vendors at the URBNmarket held in Pike and Rose recently, including Sweets By Caroline's amazing macarons!  The "regular" macarons all look great but the character ones are on another level - so cute!  I'm glad I got there early to get my pick of the whole selection, especially since it looked like she sold out in two hours.  I could see why she sold out so quickly - the macarons were all so fun to look at and the character ones were so detailed.

The macarons all tasted as good as they looked and were the perfect afternoon treat in the middle of my work days.  This URBNmarket was a great chance to check out vendors that I haven't seen in person before like this one, and try out some delicious treats at the same time!

Takeout Tuesday - Dunkin' Donuts Cherry Blossom Doughnut

I just couldn't resist snapping this cherry blossom photo when I got the Cherry Blossom-themed doughnut from Dunkin' Donuts - too cute!  While this is technically a strawberry frosted doughnut, the little flower shaped sprinkles definitely bring a festive spring feel to this treat.  I normally only get iced coffee at Dunkin' Donuts but I'm glad I happened to come across this cute spring doughnut while it is available!

Takeout Tuesday - Sunday Morning Bakehouse's Valentine Box

How cute is this Valentine's Day themed sweets box from Sunday Morning Bakehouse?  This was a special pre-order along with a few other themed items this past weekend, and I loved the variety of sweets that the box included.  This box included a brownie, two meringues, a Linzer cookie, a brown sugar cinnamon "Pop-Tart", a homemade "Oreo", two sugar cookies, and a Rice Krispie treat.  So festive and everything I've had so far has been delicious!

Takeout Tuesday - Bethesda Bagels' Christmas Bagel

How fun are these Christmas-themed bagels from Bethesda Bagels?  I picked these bagels up the week prior to Christmas and they were such a fun and delicious way to make breakfast at home feel more festive.  They still taste like plain bagels, just with swirls of color throughout.

They also had blue swirled bagels for Hannukah, and red and blue swirls for 4th of July previously.  I love how creative they are with these and I hope they continue to make them throughout the year!

Eggpress #Write_On Letterpress Cards

Given the uncertainty of things going on all around us the last few weeks, one bright spot was getting this Write On mystery pack of letterpress cards from Eggpress.  I mean, if we are all trying to be at home more and socializing a lot less, what better time than now to send out some cards to friends and family?

Not to make light of the current situation at all - sending mail is always a nice way to reach out and let someone know you're thinking of them.  My specific mystery pack has a great variety of cards for different occasions, and I'll definitely plan on sending out a lot more mail in the next few weeks!

Starbucks - Matte Pink Studded Tumbler

I probably say this every time, but I swear I was not planning on buying anything from the spring Starbucks cup collection... and then I came across this pink studded tumbler! Technically it's supposed to be out in stores later this month but I had seen it online recently so I knew what it was going to look like. However, in person it's a super cute matte pink color and I liked it a lot more than when I had seen photos of it.  It's also very tall, so it's perfect for my goal of drinking more water during the day, haha.  Be sure to keep an eye out at Starbucks and licensed Starbucks locations (Target which is where I found it, grocery stores, etc.) if you're interested in snagging one - you might get lucky like me and see it early!

Top Ramen - Gudetama Edition

Even though I'm fully aware that it's still just regular ramen inside, the Gudetama edition of these Top Ramen packages is SO SO fun! On this trip to the grocery store I found the Chicken and Soy Sauce (Vegetarian) designs available, with the iconic Japanese cartoon character all over it, haha.  Putting eggs in ramen is a pretty common thing especially in Japan, so it totally makes sense that they'd do a collaboration like this.  I can't wait to see the collection's merchandise when that becomes available too!
