First Day of Fall - Pumpkin Spice Latte Throw

Happy first day of fall everyone!  While I've been enjoying seeing a lot of fall-themed items in stores for a few weeks now, I was still really happy to see this pumpkin spice latte-themed throw blanket at TJMaxx! 

I thought it was so cute with the little mugs and pumpkin pie designs on the super soft throw.  It's a little different from the Halloween and pumpkin designs that are out in stores - perfect for anyone that's obsessed with pumpkin drinks like I am!

TJ Maxx - Valentine Mug

I always enjoy seeing holiday-specific items in stores, and right now there are so many cute Valentine's day-themed goodies at HomeGoods/Marshalls/TJMaxx!  I love all of the different kitchen items most of all, like this salt and pepper mug I saw on the shelf recently.  Those little faces on the shakers are too cute :o) If you're a fan of pink/red/heart decorations be sure to get over to these stores soon because Easter items are already starting to fill up the shelves!

HomeGoods - Oh Snap! Towel

I will never, ever get tired of seeing the gingerbread "Oh Snap" items when the Christmas stuff starts coming out in stores, haha!  I found these kitchen towels (in red above, and also in white) at HomeGoods recently, and I love this type of cute holiday humor.  Plus, it's an easy and super festive way to decorate for Christmas!

Home Goods - Rae Dunn Ramen Bowl

I am (surprisingly) pretty good about only "window shopping" at HomeGoods, but I just couldn't resist getting this Rae Dunn "Ramen" bowl on my recent visit! I have two other "word" bowls from her, but of course I had to get this one in honor of one of my favorite foods.  I have a feeling that the "Ramen" and "Cereal" (bottom of the stack) are likely for college students, but it's still a cute and useful item for anyone that is a fan of these foods!

HomeGoods - Weekend Notebook

I always make a point to walk through the stationery and office-related sections in HomeGoods, especially this time of year when they are really pushing the "back to school" items.  I found this cute pink notebook with the planners and journals on sale for $4.99, and it's a super cute options for school or work notes.  If you're in the market for office or school supplies in lots of cute designs, be sure to check out what's at your local HomeGoods.  Maybe if you buy this notebook, one of these weekends it'll finally come true, haha! 

HomeGoods - Fall Candles

While I am fully aware that it's still August/summer, I can't help but feel excited for Fall when I see all of the fun seasonal items pop up in HomeGoods! These DW Home candles have a very cute seasonal design, and smell really good and true to the label, haha.  The Pumpkin Latte one especially had a very strong coffee note which I really liked, since coffee scented candles are one of my favorites.  These large candles were priced at $14.99, but I wound up getting the smaller version of the Pumpkin Latte candle for $9.99.  If you're starting to look for some cute Fall decor to bring out in a few weeks, be sure to stop in to HomeGoods because they're starting to roll out more and more items as we get closer to Fall! 

Home Goods Mugs

I had to laugh when I came across these mugs at HomeGoods recently - they are perfect for anyone that loves shopping there!  The mug color is definitely that "HomeGoods" color, and I love that they used the exact logo design too, haha.  At $2.99 each, these are the perfect way to show your love for HomeGoods shopping with your morning coffee!

Marshalls/TJMaxx/HomeGoods always has the most random and fun mug designs, and I always love seeing what's in store.  The food-related ones are always good for a chuckle as you enjoy your morning coffee.  Let this be a reminder for you to go to the gym - or eat a pile of fries - later today :o)

8th Blogiversary!

  It's been 8 years since I started this little blog, and it's been so fun sharing lots of fun recipes, cupcakes, and other random musings online!  I thought these doughnut travel mugs at HomeGoods really exemplify my blog and general interests, haha.  While I've mostly been posting recipe links lately, I'm hoping to keep posting new and exciting (to me) things to share moving forward as well!
