I've really been loving the Sephora by OPI nail polishes- so many fun colors, and at $9 each, I don't feel bad about buying fun/trendy colors (especially for pedicures). Besides the trendy colors, it's good to have some simple nude shades for everyday wear- I also love the way nude polish looks in general. I have to admit, I was def interested in this polish initially from the name: Nonfat Soy Half Caff. Cheesy and no real connection between coffee and nail polish? Obviously, but so cute!! It's lighter in person vs. the photo above, more of a creamy pinkish tan shade that looks great with two coats. It's universally flattering for most skin tones- and I say that mainly because my mom stole this bottle from me after seeing it, haha. So I'll have to go back to the store to pick up another bottle for this spring/summer. Try it out at the store when you get a chance!
Great color - and name - haha
ReplyDelete@Shannon: I know I was totally hooked just on the name alone, haha.
ReplyDeleteHehe...how cute that your mom stole it from you XP
ReplyDelete@SNC: I know right?! And I'm pretty sure she used it once but if I try to take it back she'll say she's still using it, haha.
ReplyDeleteI've purchased many, many variations of nude nail polish over the years; just bought this and it's my all-time favorite! One coat, two coats, three coats, four. They all look good! It is extremely complimentary to my hands and just what I was looking for. I love that after several days of wearing it, the color stays on and still looks good. Instead of removing it, to freshen it up, I have painted over two coats and worn that for a couple days. Then I put a fourth coat on. Sure saves time from removing the old stuff. It doesn't seem to chip. I've never had nail polish like that. Finally had to remove it because I got acrylic paint on a few nails (from working in a preschool) and the fresh coat is lovely and sparkly as ever.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous: Thanks for sharing, glad you like the polish too!
