This Maple Walnut Crunch cupcake was a great addition to the fall menu at Georgetown Cupcake. It consists of a "maple-infused cupcake baked with fresh walnuts, topped with a maple cream cheese frosting, crushed walnuts and a fondant maple leaf."
The whole cupcake was great, but my favorite part was definitely the maple cream cheese frosting. It was light and fluffy, and tasted like a stack of pancakes in frosting form :o) The walnuts in the cake and on top of the frosting added some texture to the rest of the cupcake.
