CVS Deals - Week of 10/23/2011

This week's CVS deals have last week's $10 gift card for purchasing $30 worth of specially marked items.  I've received a $10 American Express gift card from last week's purchases and got another one this week with the specially marked items. 

Remember, the $30 requirement is for the price of the items, not the price after coupons.  So with a little planning, you can spend less than $30 and still get the gift card.

I got:

• Scott extra soft toilet paper 12-pack: $8 on sale, $1 manufacturer's coupon.
• Scott mega roll paper towel 6-pack: $6 on sale, $1 manufacturer's coupon.
• Five Kleenex 100-count tissues: $1 each on sale, one $1/4 manufacturer's coupon.
• Excedrin extra strength 250-count: $10.99 on sale, one $1.50 manufacturer's coupon.

 There's also a good deal on gum:

• Six Extra 15-count gum: 3/$3 on sale, three $1/2 manufacturer's coupons.

Finally, there are deals on two Halloween-related items (Note: These two deals are only valid until Tuesday the 25th!):

• Gold Emblem candy corn: $0.99, $0.99 Extra Bucks back.
• Pumpkin Masters carving tool: $2.49, $2.49 Extra Bucks back.
